Sietske Aussems is een ondernemende en betrokken persoonlijkheid uit Eindhoven, die zich inzet voor de culturele en stedelijke transformatie van de stad. Ze werkte 15 jaar bij Woningcorporatie Sint Trudo (2000 – 2019), waar ze nauw betrokken was bij de herontwikkeling van iconische locaties, zoals de Lichttoren in het centrum van Eindhoven en het voormalige Philips-industriegebied Strijp‑S. Dankzij haar inzet en visie werd Strijp‑S getransformeerd van een afgesloten industrieel terrein tot een bruisende, creatieve wijk vol hippe winkels, horeca en inspirerende werkplekken.
Following her time at Sint Trudo, Sietske has channelled her passion for Eindhoven into two initiatives of her own. On the one hand, she runs Braintours Eindhoven, offering guided tours that give visitors a unique insight into the rich history and contemporary innovation of Strijp-S and the surrounding areas. On the other hand, she launched Eindhovenshopper, a retail concept focused on Eindhoven and its local makers. Eindhovenshopper sells unique, sustainably developed products and designs, offering a platform to Eindhoven-based designers and entrepreneurs whilst telling the city’s story.
Sietske Aussems is the owner of Braintours Eindhoven, an organisation that offers engaging and informative guided tours in and around Eindhoven, with a particular focus on areas such as Strijp-S, Strijp-T, Woensel-West, the Brainport Industries Campus and the High Tech Campus.

As well as her involvement with Braintours, Sietske is also the owner of Eindhovenshopper and is known as a keen networker with a big heart.

Through her initiatives, Sietske not only highlights Eindhoven’s transformation, but also fosters connections between creators, businesses and consumers in the region. Her involvement in both the development and promotion of Strijp-S makes her a key figure in telling Eindhoven’s story.
Sietske is sterk betrokken bij de regio Eindhoven en zet zich actief in voor maatschappelijke en culturele verbinding. Sinds 2020 is zij lid van Rotary Eindhoven Noord, waar zij zich inzet om een betekenisvolle maatschappelijke bijdrage te leveren. In 2025 heeft zij de rol van voorzitter op zich genomen, een functie die zij met enthousiasme nog een jaar zal voortzetten.
Daarnaast is Sietske voorzitter van de ondernemersvereniging Strijp-S, waar zij zich richt op het versterken van de onderlinge samenwerking en verbinding tussen bedrijven in het gebied. Met haar uitgebreide kennis van Strijp-S speelt zij hierin een verbindende rol.
Ook op cultureel vlak draagt zij bij als bestuurder van United Cowboys, waarmee zij haar betrokkenheid bij kunst en cultuur in de regio verder vormgeeft.
