Sietske Aussems is an enterprising and committed personality from Eindhoven, committed to the cultural and urban transformation of the city. She worked for 15 years at Woningcorporatie Sint Trudo, where she was closely involved in the redevelopment of iconic sites, such as the Lichttoren in the centre of Eindhoven and the former Philips industrial area Strijp-S. Thanks to her commitment and vision, Strijp-S was transformed from a closed industrial site into a vibrant, creative district full of hip shops, restaurants and inspiring workplaces. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After her time at Sint Trudo, Sietske turned her passion for Eindhoven into two initiatives of her own. On the one hand, she runs Braintours Eindhoven, providing tours that give visitors a unique insight into the rich history and contemporary innovation of Strijp-S and the surrounding areas. On the other hand, she launched Eindhovenshopper, a shopping concept focusing on Eindhoven and its local makers. Eindhovenshopper sells unusual, sustainably developed products and designs, offering a platform to Eindhoven designers and entrepreneurs as well as telling the story of the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sietske Aussems is the owner of Braintours Eindhoven, an organisation that offers passionate and substantive tours in and around Eindhoven, with a special focus on areas such as Strijp-S, Strijp-T, Woensel-West, the Brainport Industries Campus and the High Tech Campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Besides her involvement with Braintours, Sietske is also the owner of Eindhovenshopper and is known as an avid networker with a social heart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her passion for the city and ability to tell stories make her tours a unique experience for anyone who wants to learn more about Eindhoven’s rich history and innovative character.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
